Well i did it i reached one of my goals for this year all ready    i did a 50 mile ride yesterday on my MT. bike!!!  time was 3 hrs  16.8 mph   average.  the first 40 miles i was over 17.5 mph but ran into a stiff head wind and 2 miles of up hill at the end.

18 mile  1 hr = 18mph avg! ride felt great   very hard hill day with fast middle than 2 miles up hill at the end just to make the legs into jello!!!  i felt really good considering the 50 mile ride 2 days ago that just crushed me  the next day.  now its time to mix it up with some single track rides   heading up to Boyne Mt here in MI next weekend and there are some great single track trails there

great hill work out tonight  20 miles  @ 17.4 mph   1:09   very hilly not much time to go fast but a good change up to get ready for single track.

last 5 rides  126 miles   averaging 17.6  mph  not to bad.

nice 4.5 mile hill run  today in 30 mph winds !   It was nice to run again its been a week or more been spending time on the bike .

am   mt hike/ run  up hill part with 40 lbs of Ike on my shoulders to get him to the top fast he had to go #2  bad  LOL!!!!    major leg burn climbing ski slope with boy on my back!  

 

then the same mt bike ride as yesterday   but the oposite way   still up hill and slow.  not used to the steep slow climbs  been  doing too much road work.  now back home and more road work.

good long ride 23.3 mile  in stiff side wind  avg 17.7 mph  1:18:30.   too long   time to cut to good hill rides from 10 - 15 miles !!!!!  legs where in awsome shape from training in the Mts. over the weekend  first 10 mile big ring  little back =  fast !!!!
