put the new bike through its paces tonight.  ran a 21 mile tt @ 20.1 mph!!! not too bad  it is super hot here  then took it home through the hills  and did a total of 28 miles @ speed 18.5  with the hills in there.  P.S  word of warning     dont finish a hard night of TT with 7 miles of hills  not smart and not good on the body esp. with dew point at 70 again..   looking at my first road race on wed supposed to be 90 deg.   i am just going to get my feet wet  and see how it is riding in a group of 60  at 20 + mph for 1 hr 30 min. is  LOL.  i think i might get tired??

recovery ride  10 miles  17.2 mph  nice and easy   got a hard ride tomorrow if it isnt too hot  calling for 90  i dont like the heat!!

I did it my first road bike race  40 mile   total   lap event  each lap is 2 miles.  It was brutal the pack took off like a rocket and i was sucking air i found my grove and went at it  came on really strong at the end  i  will just be marked as finished no place for me i need alot of work to get up to speed!!  i have 104 miles in this week already and its only wed.
